In recent years, the prosperity of the real estate market in various places is obvious to all. Especially with the impact of the 2008 Olympic Games and the 2010 World Expo, real estate in Beijing and Shanghai are extremely hot. At the same time, with the development of cities, new urban areas were expanded, old urban areas were renovated, and economic development zones were created. There will be a large number of public projects to be built. These various aspects have further increased the demand of the construction industry.

Application in construction
In the construction industry, the traditional method is to make sand table models. Because the sand table has to be scaled down by a large scale, only a bird’s-eye view of the community can be obtained, and the architectural space of the community cannot be experienced from the perspective of a normal person, let alone the real feeling of people walking in it. At the same time, it is difficult to modify after the model is made, or the cost of modification is high. This makes the sand table model have great limitations.
In recent years, with the popularization of CAD technology, renderings and 3D animation have been widely used. However, renderings can only provide a static and partial visual experience. Although 3D animation has strong dynamic 3D expressiveness, it does not have real-time interactivity and is a static world. The observer can only browse according to the pre-defined route and angle, which is very passive. Accordingly, the information cannot be comprehensive.

The simulation system is different from the previous CAD renderings and three-dimensional animations. It is not a static scene, but an open and interactive environment. Users can drag the mouse to walk freely in the “virtual scene” or even fly. You can also easily query various data and picture information. It turns design drawings that only professionals could understand into visible virtual objects and environments. So that the design mode that can only be used in the past can only be promoted to the perfect state of digitalization. To a certain extent, this system is a digital sand table simulated by a computer. However, it has more functions, stronger performance, wider application, and lower cost than the sand table. It is a revolution in the development of architectural design and real estate marketing from traditional craftsmanship to digital technology.
We can use advanced virtual reality (VR) technology according to the provided detailed information, data, drawings, etc., and construct a virtual scene in strict accordance with the planning and design dimensions. The virtual scene includes buildings, green spaces, woods, sculptures, business clubs, artificial lakes, parking lots, playgrounds and other entities, which are lifelike. This three-dimensional display is different from the traditional three-dimensional animation, it completely simulates the real scene. And the observer can walk around, turn around, jump up, look up, and take a bird’s eye view at will in the virtual scene. It is not a static world, but an open and interactive environment. And all of this can be achieved with just one click of the mouse.
When the roamer “walks” in front of each building, he can view the comprehensive and detailed information of the building with a single click. You can know its appearance and building materials, you can know its internal structure, you can know its building area, building materials, etc.
In virtual roaming, there is also an automatic roaming function. When you have selected a destination, the system will automatically take you there, clearly.

Due to the relevance, complexity, and forward-looking nature of the construction plan, the requirements are extremely high. All urban construction departments, developers, engineers, and people from all walks of life are required to cooperate and communicate fully. However, traditional methods such as floor plans and models are too professional for non-professionals, and are extremely inhumane and unintuitive. This creates a communication barrier between professionals and non-professionals. And our project just solved this contradiction. Transform the floor plans that only professionals can understand into realistic three-dimensional scenes. It enables non-professionals to interact and see the planning effect in real time and obtain an unprecedented intuitive experience, thereby breaking the communication barriers between professionals and non-professionals. Enable better communication between departments, discover problems in time, and reach consensus.
